Spectators: 7607 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2107, VIP seats: 0) Vlade Cuković started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Zlatomir Dobrašinović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoran Kukolj in the 7th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Gnjilan defense, Zoran Kukolj kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zlatomir Dobrašinović. The Gnjilan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zlatomir Dobrašinović should have stopped the shot. After 12 played minutes FC vukovi sa bikare got a freekick which was hit by Jugoslav Nestorovski. Petar Gojković made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vlade Cuković in the 14th minute. Zlatomir Dobrašinović came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by FC vukovi sa bikare's Miloš Drinčić. But to his dismay, Miloš Drinčić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, FC vukovi sa bikare's Miloš Drinčić got a free kick in the 18th minute. Petar Gojković made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Vlade Cuković sent off a good shot on target. Gnjilan's Murat Mićić got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, FC vukovi sa bikare's Petar Gojković got control of the ball when Vlade Cuković tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute Ilija Dimitrijević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zlatomir Dobrašinović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Gnjilan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazar Brnović to maneuver through the defense. Gnjilan's Vlade Cuković got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lazar Brnović blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petar Gojković having to make a save. Zlatomir Dobrašinović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilija Dimitrijević in the 34th minute of play. FC vukovi sa bikare's Petar Gojković proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save FC vukovi sa bikare from getting a goal against them. Vlade Cuković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petar Gojković having to interfere. If Vlade Cuković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zoran Kukolj was the one to do the kick off. Vlade Cuković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Gnjilan booed when FC vukovi sa bikare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Strahinja Đorović didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Vlade Cuković cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Petar Gojković was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 67 minutes into the match, Ðuza Petrović notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of FC vukovi sa bikare's Petar Gojković. Petar Gojković was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Vlade Cuković sped through FC vukovi sa bikare's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Petar Gojković. A collision led to Gnjilan getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jugoslav Ristanić hit a great ball. In the 77th match minute, Gnjilan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Teodorović to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC vukovi sa bikare booed when Gnjilan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lazar Brnović didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes, FC vukovi sa bikare's Strahinja Đorović shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zlatomir Dobrašinović came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC vukovi sa bikare reached it. Ðuza Petrović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petar Gojković having to interfere. If Murat Mićić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Gnjilan players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
