Vukosav Jačić charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a little luck, Novi Sad's Dobrica Ivanović got control of the ball when Ilija Dimitrijević tried to sneak it across the goal line. Novi Sad's Dobrica Ivanović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilija Dimitrijević in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Radisav Lazarević had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petar Gojković. FC vukovi sa bikare's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radisav Lazarević was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Petar Gojković came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Novi Sad's Radisav Lazarević. But to his dismay, Radisav Lazarević quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radisav Lazarević in the 30th minute of play forced FC vukovi sa bikare's goalkeeper Petar Gojković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petar Gojković showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Todosijević in the 34th minute of the match. FC vukovi sa bikare's Petar Gojković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radisav Lazarević in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to FC vukovi sa bikare getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Aleksa Kahriman hit a great ball. The supporters of FC vukovi sa bikare booed when Novi Sad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Todosijević didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Novi Sad were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marko Todosijević stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Novi Sad's Sinan Latinović quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Radisav Lazarević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. When Marko Todosijević came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Novi Sad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marko Todosijević couldn't finish the play. After 94 minutes, Sinan Latinović mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Novi Sad and the FC vukovi sa bikare players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Novi Sad's Sinan Latinović got a free kick in the 94th minute. The FC vukovi sa bikare fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Novi Sad were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
