The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 3 in the game by Radisav Lazarević from a close distance when the talented Stevan Lezajić managed to make a qualified save. North Korea's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Sredoje Kaluđerović kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stevan Lezajić. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, North Korea's Ljuba Radivojević nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dobrica Ivanović made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dobrica Ivanović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ljuba Radivojević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manojlo Uzelac took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dobrica Ivanović. The North Korea players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Novi Sad from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
