The supporters of Železničar Pančevo booed when Aleksinac OFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlada Perić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tanasko Jelić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gojko Markus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Milutin Borenović when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 13 minutes into the game, Janko Rabić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Savo Marković was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vekoslav Radojević in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Savo Marković saved Železničar Pančevo from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Aleksinac OFK's goalkeeper Milutin Borenović had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gojko Markus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanasko Jelić in the 26th minute of play forced Aleksinac OFK's goalkeeper Milutin Borenović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Tanasko Jelić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ljubinko Kruščić's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Milutin Borenović skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tanasko Jelić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milutin Borenović having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tanasko Jelić in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Milutin Borenović prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aleksinac OFK's Milutin Borenović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Aleksinac OFK from getting a goal against them. Milutin Borenović was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ljubinko Kruščić showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play. After having played for 48 minutes, Ljubinko Kruščić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Železničar Pančevo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ljubinko Kruščić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Tanasko Jelić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milutin Borenović having to interfere. Stanoje Čolaković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milutin Borenović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanoje Čolaković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Gojko Markus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Milutin Borenović. Aleksinac OFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gojko Markus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Vlada Perić's late challenge caught a Železničar Pančevo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vlada Perić helped the player get up and apologised. Vlada Perić kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ljubinko Kruščić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milutin Borenović having to interfere. Aleksinac OFK's Milutin Borenović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanasko Jelić in the 71st minute of play. Ljubinko Kruščić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Milutin Borenović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 minutes Aleksinac OFK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tanasko Jelić who took care of the corner kick. Aleksinac OFK's Milutin Borenović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanasko Jelić in the 81st minute of play. Milutin Borenović stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanoje Čolaković's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Ljubinko Kruščić struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Milutin Borenović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Železničar Pančevo. Savo Marković showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janko Rabić, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Železničar Pančevo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
