Spectators: 9268 (Terracing: 6953, Seating: 2131, VIP seats: 184) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tanasko Jelić started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanasko Jelić in the 4th minute of play forced Partizan's goalkeeper Costel Lăcătușu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Partizan's Rony Rustikov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Savo Marković made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Savo Marković didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascual Ferrer went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Savo Marković made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Pascual Ferrer sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, Železničar Pančevo's goalkeeper Savo Marković had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Ferrer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Rustikov in the 17th minute of play forced Železničar Pančevo's goalkeeper Savo Marković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costel Lăcătușu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ljubinko Kruščić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Swartenbroekx's late challenge caught a Železničar Pančevo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Swartenbroekx helped the player get up and apologised. Železničar Pančevo made a substitution. Anđelko Radičević replaced Gojko Markus. In the 23rd match minute, Železničar Pančevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksa Kralj to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Partizan's Rony Rustikov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. 31 minutes into the match, Partizan's goal looked a bit too open when Ljubinko Kruščić came free, but Costel Lăcătușu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pascual Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Partizan's Rony Rustikov fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Costel Lăcătușu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ljubinko Kruščić in the 45th minute of the match. Partizan's Edmondo Farina got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When Ljubinko Kruščić came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Železničar Pančevo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ljubinko Kruščić couldn't finish the play. Rony Rustikov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pascual Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Savo Marković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Železničar Pančevo's Tanasko Jelić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Costel Lăcătușu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Rony Rustikov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Partizan's supporters rose to their feet, but Rony Rustikov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Savo Marković breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanoje Čolaković during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Železničar Pančevo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Stanoje Čolaković hit a great ball. Rony Rustikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Savo Marković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Pascual Ferrer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Partizan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Michael Swartenbroekx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Savo Marković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Železničar Pančevo's Savo Marković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Ferrer in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Partizan's goal looked a bit too open when Tanasko Jelić came free, but Costel Lăcătușu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Partizan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
