FK Debili's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stanoje Čolaković was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 17 played minutes Železničar Pančevo got a freekick which was hit by Stanoje Čolaković. With a little luck, Železničar Pančevo's Savo Marković got control of the ball when Marko Medojević tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Ranđel Raičković was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Debili's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Železničar Pančevo the free kick. Ranđel Raičković hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Železničar Pančevo's Tanasko Jelić tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 28 minutes, Marko Medojević mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Debili and the Železničar Pančevo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Marko Medojević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ljubinko Kruščić in the 30th minute of play forced FK Debili's goalkeeper Velimir Kalajdžić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Železničar Pančevo's Tanasko Jelić got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After the first half Železničar Pančevo were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tanasko Jelić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, one of FK Debili:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FK Debili. FK Debili:s Velimir Kalajdžić showed great skill when he stopped Tanasko Jelić:s penalty. After 53 minutes of play, Železničar Pančevo's Tanasko Jelić made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Velimir Kalajdžić was left in no man's land by his defense there! Velimir Kalajdžić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanasko Jelić, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Velimir Kalajdžić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanasko Jelić in the 58th minute of play. Ljubinko Kruščić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dragomir Prtinac was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 97 minutes into the match. The Železničar Pančevo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
