Geronimo Aragones might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Staniša Šorgić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geronimo Aragones ran back to his position shaking his head. Staniša Šorgić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Aragones in the 6th minute. In the 12th minute Radoman Karaičić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheikh Barbereau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sirmium Legionaries F.C. defense, Radoman Karaičić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cheikh Barbereau. The Sirmium Legionaries F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cheikh Barbereau should have stopped the shot. Thornhill City's Staniša Šorgić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Thornhill City from getting a goal against them. Radoman Karaičić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cheikh Barbereau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radoman Karaičić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cheikh Barbereau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Radoman Karaičić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Thornhill City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s 罗星国 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stefan Bjelić, made in the 27th minute of the game. Radoman Karaičić might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cheikh Barbereau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Radoman Karaičić ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Sirmium Legionaries F.C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. 洪坚誉 hit a great ball. Radoman Karaičić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cheikh Barbereau having to make a save. After some careless play in the Sirmium Legionaries F.C. defense, Radoman Karaičić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cheikh Barbereau. Thornhill City's Marko Vidanović was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cheikh Barbereau in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geronimo Aragones to strike the kick off in the second half. Staniša Šorgić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlajko Bošnjak, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Cheikh Barbereau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ninoslav Mijanović in the 56th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Nemanja Vidić in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Thornhill City's Dejan Jovanić. 60 minutes into the match, Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ninoslav Mijanović came free, but Cheikh Barbereau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Staniša Šorgić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Aragones in the 62nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Thornhill City's Ninoslav Mijanović slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cheikh Barbereau. That made the score 0-6 after 65 minutes of play. Ninoslav Mijanović ran back to his position shaking his head.
