Apatin's Damir Spasić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dmitar Prentić in the 82nd minute of play. F.K. Apatin's Bogomir Kiković got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Bogomir Kiković off the ground. The supporters of FTC Ferencváros booed when F.K. Apatin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogomir Kiković didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.K. Apatin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FTC Ferencváros the free kick. In the 96th minute, Grujica Šljukić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that FTC Ferencváros were the better team. FTC Ferencváros's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
