Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Boriša Smailagic got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Muhamed Šaleta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zajo Pupovac was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. When Dejan Radlović fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Milan's protests and gave Dejan Radlović a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wolverhampton booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dejan Radlović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavić Desnica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zajo Pupovac having to interfere. Vukosav Đurasović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nebojša Sedlarević having to interfere. Muhamed Šaleta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zajo Pupovac having to interfere. Pavić Desnica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Zajo Pupovac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wolverhampton were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after AC Milan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radoman Topčagić took the corner. Radoman Topčagić made a great header on Wolverhampton's corner, it was just that AC Milan's Nebojša Sedlarević managed to reach the ball for a save. When Zijah Plantak came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Wolverhampton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zijah Plantak couldn't finish the play. Antonel Pešalj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Radisav Zvicer. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Muhamed Šaleta made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Radisav Zvicer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Milan and the Wolverhampton players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Radisav Zvicer. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Nedžad Anđelić got a free kick in the 57th minute. Darko Gutović charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darko Gutović the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Darko Gutović hit a great ball. If Antonel Pešalj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zijah Plantak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Antonel Pešalj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Antonel Pešalj cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Nebojša Sedlarević was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When AC Milan's Muhamed Šaleta in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wolverhampton's goalie prevented a goal. 77 minutes into the match, Wolverhampton's goal looked a bit too open when Muhamed Šaleta came free, but Zajo Pupovac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muhamed Šaleta was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. AC Milan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bojan Čubrilović hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Wolverhampton's Zijah Plantak got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes Radisav Zvicer scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Zajo Pupovac who was too lazy, 1-2. Pavić Desnica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Zajo Pupovac made a huge save. After 89 played minutes Wolverhampton got a freekick which was hit by Bojan Čubrilović. Muhamed Šaleta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Zajo Pupovac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
