Gvozden Pupovac kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Dejan Višković was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Waltham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Archway City the free kick. After 21 played minutes Waltham got a freekick which was hit by Dejan Višković. Nikon Iliev hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Ratko Roganović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Archway City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Waltham the free kick. After 27 minutes, Gvozden Pupovac mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Waltham and the Archway City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Gvozden Pupovac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Archway City's zone, Gvozden Pupovac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Predrag Ivanišević came out of the goal and Gvozden Pupovac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gvozden Pupovac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Predrag Ivanišević made a huge save. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Archway City's goalkeeper Predrag Ivanišević, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ratko Roganović was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 38th minute, Ratko Roganović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Archway City's zone, Gvozden Pupovac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Predrag Ivanišević came out of the goal and Gvozden Pupovac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hakija Blažević struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Predrag Ivanišević didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waltham. Predrag Ivanišević made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Gvozden Pupovac sent off a good shot on target. Gvozden Pupovac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakija Blažević in the 47th minute of play forced Archway City's goalkeeper Predrag Ivanišević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gvozden Pupovac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niša Aćimović stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Archway City's goal looked a bit too open when Dejan Višković came free, but Predrag Ivanišević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Archway City's goalkeeper Predrag Ivanišević, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zoran Vidić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Predrag Ivanišević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Hakija Blažević managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waltham's supporters rose to their feet, but Hakija Blažević was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Predrag Ivanišević breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Predrag Ivanišević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gvozden Pupovac in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hakija Blažević in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Predrag Ivanišević saved Archway City from getting behind. Hakija Blažević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gvozden Pupovac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Hakija Blažević had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Predrag Ivanišević. Archway City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hakija Blažević was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 76 minutes of play, Waltham's Hakija Blažević made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Predrag Ivanišević was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hakija Blažević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Predrag Ivanišević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Zoran Vidić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waltham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zoran Vidić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hakija Blažević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Predrag Ivanišević having to interfere. Gvozden Pupovac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gvozden Pupovac blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Predrag Ivanišević having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Waltham fully deserved thier win.
