In the 17th minute, Čedomir Đokvučić had to leave the field with a concussion. Milan Mišković's late challenge caught a Netherton City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Milan Mišković helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Ullesthorpe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milan Mišković to maneuver through the defense. Staniša Drakulić came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Ullesthorpe FC's Ivan Vujošević. But to his dismay, Ivan Vujošević quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Timotije Lazović struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. In the 44th minute, Ivan Vujošević got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Dragutin Parezanović fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherton City's protests and gave Dragutin Parezanović a yellow card for diving instead. Dragutin Parezanović kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When Denis Rašović came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Netherton City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Rašović couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the game, Hulio Jeremić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherton City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ullesthorpe FC the free kick.
