When Nikita Mamić fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chadderton United's protests and gave Nikita Mamić a yellow card for diving instead. Budisav Gegić took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Višeslav Stojčić. Višeslav Stojčić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Leo Arsenijević received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Višeslav Stojčić came out and tried to block the shot, but Leo Arsenijević slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 13th minute. Budisav Gegić struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Višeslav Stojčić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rochdale City. Budisav Gegić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Višeslav Stojčić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chadderton United's Višeslav Stojčić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Arsenijević in the 36th minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Leo Arsenijević who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chadderton United's Višeslav Stojčić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Leo Arsenijević got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rochdale City's goalkeeper Petko Milunović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Budisav Gegić was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Rochdale City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elvis Milović to strike the kick off in the second half. Petko Milunović stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elvis Milović's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. If Leo Arsenijević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Višeslav Stojčić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Kecojević in the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Chadderton United getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gligorije Jakovljević hit a great ball. Budisav Gegić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Višeslav Stojčić having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Budisav Gegić made a precise shot to the right of Višeslav Stojčić. Chadderton United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After having played for 82 minutes, Budisav Gegić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rochdale City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Budisav Gegić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Rochdale City fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Rochdale City's Budisav Gegić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 96th minute, Budisav Gegić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Višeslav Stojčić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Arsenijević in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rochdale City had played much better football throughout.
