Fado Vesović struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Rodoljub Lalošević didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RED HAWK. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Plava Zvezda's goalkeeper Rodoljub Lalošević, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zrinko Bogićević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodoljub Lalošević having to interfere. Vasko Crnčević kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Rodoljub Lalošević successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rodoljub Lalošević made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zrinko Bogićević in the 20th minute. When Vasko Crnčević was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 20 minutes had been played. Vasko Crnčević hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. FK Plava Zvezda's Rodoljub Lalošević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fado Vesović in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to FK Plava Zvezda getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ljubo Kuljača hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match Dragoljub Memedović shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodoljub Lalošević showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zrinko Bogićević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodoljub Lalošević having to interfere. When Ljubo Kuljača fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Plava Zvezda's protests and gave Ljubo Kuljača a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes FK Plava Zvezda got a freekick which was hit by Ljubo Kuljača. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fado Vesović in the 33rd minute of play forced FK Plava Zvezda's goalkeeper Rodoljub Lalošević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FK Plava Zvezda getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Joksim Stojmirović hit a great ball. Rodoljub Lalošević was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Fado Vesović capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fado Vesović really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fado Vesović was the one to do the kick off. Rodoljub Lalošević showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fado Vesović in the 58th minute of the match. Rodoljub Lalošević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fado Vesović in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Fado Vesović cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rodoljub Lalošević was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zvonko Sjekloća hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute Fado Vesović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodoljub Lalošević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zrinko Bogićević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The RED HAWK fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when RED HAWK's Fado Vesović looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zrinko Bogićević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danko Rastoder's late challenge caught a RED HAWK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danko Rastoder helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, FK Plava Zvezda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danko Rastoder to maneuver through the defense. Ljubo Kuljača got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, FK Plava Zvezda's Ljubo Kuljača got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Stavro Savićević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Abecia having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Trajko Ajduković was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Plava Zvezda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RED HAWK the free kick. The supporters of RED HAWK booed when FK Plava Zvezda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trajko Ajduković didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Grujo Đokaj came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the RED HAWK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grujo Đokaj couldn't finish the play. Zrinko Bogićević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodoljub Lalošević having to interfere. RED HAWK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FK Plava Zvezda for a fine match.
