Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roman Bećirović got the match started through his kick off. Milinko Krstičić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Šaban Sedlarević having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Petts Wood's goal looked a bit too open when Milinko Krstičić came free, but Šaban Sedlarević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milinko Krstičić kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Niša Vojinović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gajo Radak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Tomo Drašković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Šaban Sedlarević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gajo Radak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niša Vojinović in the 19th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Petts Wood got a freekick which was hit by Caki Prijović. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Milinko Krstičić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ashton Under's supporters rose to their feet, but Milinko Krstičić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Šaban Sedlarević breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Šaban Sedlarević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Bećirović, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Ashton Under's goalkeeper Gajo Radak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caki Prijović. After 30 minutes, Tomo Drašković mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ashton Under and the Petts Wood players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ashton Under's Tomo Drašković got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Milinko Krstičić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Šaban Sedlarević took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Bećirović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Petts Wood! The goalkeeper, Šaban Sedlarević, was totally fooled by Ashton Under's Tomo Drašković, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Gajo Radak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miloš Lalević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niša Vojinović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Milinko Krstičić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Šaban Sedlarević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gajo Radak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niša Vojinović, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ashton Under's Milinko Krstičić got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Petts Wood's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Bećirović came free, but Šaban Sedlarević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Tomo Drašković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Bećirović in the 97th minute of play forced Petts Wood's goalkeeper Šaban Sedlarević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
