The audience thought a goal was coming when Niša Đurašković got free with Arso Filipović in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rastko Dakić succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Countesthorpe FC's Arso Filipović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Countesthorpe FC from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, Countesthorpe FC's goalkeeper Arso Filipović had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niša Đurašković. After some careless play in the Countesthorpe FC defense, Rastko Dakić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arso Filipović. The Countesthorpe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arso Filipović should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Niša Đurašković managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hay Island's supporters rose to their feet, but Niša Đurašković was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arso Filipović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rastko Dakić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Arso Filipović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niša Đurašković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Niša Đurašković got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Hay Island's Niša Đurašković slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arso Filipović. That made the score 4-0 after 38 minutes of play. After 43 played minutes Hay Island got a freekick which was hit by Bratislav Branković. Milutin Krajinović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hay Island's Grigorije Prodanović got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Arso Filipović was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Rastko Dakić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The supporters of Hay Island booed when Countesthorpe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milutin Krajinović didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Countesthorpe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rastko Dakić came free, but Arso Filipović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hay Island booed when Countesthorpe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milutin Krajinović didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Countesthorpe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niša Đurašković came free, but Arso Filipović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Rastko Dakić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Arso Filipović was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th match minute, Hay Island was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigorije Prodanović to maneuver through the defense. Rastko Dakić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arso Filipović having to make a save. If Rastko Dakić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Niša Đurašković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arso Filipović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rastko Dakić in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rastko Dakić in the 94th minute of play forced Countesthorpe FC's goalkeeper Arso Filipović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niša Đurašković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hay Island walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
