Novak Tršić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Dragiša Panić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Svetoje Milenković was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spasoje Radosavović in the 43rd minute of play forced Plumpton Green F.C's goalkeeper Bogdan Praščević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Plumpton Green F.C's Bogdan Praščević proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Plumpton Green F.C from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Middridge Village's Vitomir Odavić got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dragiša Panić made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Dalibor Tadić notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Plumpton Green F.C's Bogdan Praščević. Bogdan Praščević was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Middridge Village made a substitution. Matija Andrijašević replaced Špiro Višković. Novak Tršić hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Vitomir Odavić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Bogdan Praščević was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Vitomir Odavić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matija Andrijašević kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Svetoje Milenković made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beli Kovačević in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Novak Tršić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svetoje Milenković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Novak Tršić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Novak Tršić came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Plumpton Green F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Novak Tršić couldn't finish the play. When Luka Đurđević fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Middridge Village's protests and gave Luka Đurđević a yellow card for diving instead. Luka Đurđević kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dragiša Panić got free with Svetoje Milenković in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 92 played minutes Middridge Village got a freekick which was hit by Nino Maraš. Svetoje Milenković took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragiša Panić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Plumpton Green F.C's Mlađan Lazetić pulled a muscle in his back after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Vukoje Jelenić's late challenge caught a Plumpton Green F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vukoje Jelenić helped the player get up and apologised. Plumpton Green F.C's Jakša Vranjković was substituted for Mlađan Lazetić. In the 97th minute, Vukoje Jelenić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
