ФК Будућност Подгорица's Petar Rajević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milijan Srdanović in the 7th minute of play. Petar Rajević didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Bećirović went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Janko Radunović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jefto Stević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milun Matković kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Velizar Majstorović took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Petar Rajević. ФК Будућност Подгорица's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 36th minute, Blažo Milašinović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Petar Rajević came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Purfleet's Milijan Srdanović. But to his dismay, Milijan Srdanović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. It was a well-played corner which Oliver Bećirović managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Vidoje Šarčević struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Jefto Stević didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ФК Будућност Подгорица. Vidoje Šarčević was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Janko Radunović came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the ФК Будућност Подгорица fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janko Radunović couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the ФК Будућност Подгорица players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Purfleet.
