After 35 minutes, Damjan Trailović mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newcastle United and the Hounslow players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arsenije Zavišić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ljubinko Kalajdžić made a huge save. After having played for 90 minutes, Krsman Kurtović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hounslow's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krsman Kurtović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arsenije Zavišić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ljubinko Kalajdžić having to interfere. Hounslow walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
