When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Elvis Đinđinović took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Muhamed Borilović to make any attempt to save it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elvis Đinđinović to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Elvis Đinđinović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhamed Borilović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Elvis Đinđinović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sowerby Bridge AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvis Đinđinović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sowerby Bridge AFC's Strahinja Ćetković got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Milinko Trbović kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Elvis Đinđinović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Muhamed Borilović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Elvis Đinđinović left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sowerby Bridge AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When Elvis Đinđinović came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Sowerby Bridge AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvis Đinđinović couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Sowerby Bridge AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
