In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje's goalkeeper Radoman Cvjetinović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Partington's Ivica Smailagic got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, FK Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje's Tozo Punišić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niša Buzdovan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute Milomir Terzić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoman Cvjetinović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Momo Jeremić's late challenge caught a Partington's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Momo Jeremić helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Partington booed when FK Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Momo Jeremić didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Milomir Terzić put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Radoman Cvjetinović. If Milomir Terzić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FK Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje's zone, Milomir Terzić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radoman Cvjetinović came out of the goal and Milomir Terzić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FK Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje's Radoman Cvjetinović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milomir Terzić in the 35th minute of play. Niša Buzdovan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vukmir Maslić in the 40th minute. A collision led to Partington getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Dario Medojević hit a great ball. FK Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje's Tozo Punišić got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Partington were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tozo Punišić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Niša Buzdovan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Medojević kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Tozo Punišić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes in the game, Jugoslav Luković fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Radoman Cvjetinović having to interfere. Milomir Terzić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoman Cvjetinović having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, FK Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje's Vukmir Maslić made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niša Buzdovan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute, Jugoslav Luković fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ivica Smailagic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoman Cvjetinović having to interfere. Radoman Cvjetinović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jugoslav Luković in the 91st minute of play. Jugoslav Luković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoman Cvjetinović having to interfere.
