Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dragoslav Šaletić made the kick off which started today's match. Richie Meade kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Dennis Easton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ćiro Bogdanović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Cleethorpes's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Easton came free, but Ćiro Bogdanović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Dragoslav Šaletić got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alan Allwright made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Rodoljub Katić sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dragoslav Šaletić in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alan Allwright prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cottered City's Alan Allwright proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Cottered City from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the match, Cleethorpes's Dragoslav Šaletić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alan Allwright narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dragoslav Šaletić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Alan Allwright tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alan Allwright stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dragoslav Šaletić's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Rodoljub Katić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Allwright having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Rodoljub Katić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cottered City's Alan Allwright was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Cleethorpes's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Easton came free, but Ćiro Bogdanović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ćiro Bogdanović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Easton in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute, Rodoljub Katić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alan Allwright was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 68th match minute, Cottered City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jake Gerrard to maneuver through the defense. If Dragoslav Šaletić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dragoslav Šaletić in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alan Allwright saved Cottered City from getting behind. If Rodoljub Katić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodoljub Katić in the 80th minute of play forced Cottered City's goalkeeper Alan Allwright to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Corbridge hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Ćetko Tošković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragoslav Šaletić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Alan Allwright tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alan Allwright took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodoljub Katić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cottered City defense, Petko Tepavčević kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alan Allwright. The Cottered City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alan Allwright should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Cleethorpes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
