In the 4th minute, Denis Bakrač hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wesley Best sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Momo Grujičić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bob Winship read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Bob Winship made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vahid Vranješ in the 20th minute. Tozo Radosavović was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. FK Crna Gora's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 24 minutes into the match, FK Crna Gora's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Best came free, but Bogomir Pantović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogomir Pantović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Best in the 29th minute of the match. Polperro FC's Bob Winship played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Momo Grujičić in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Denis Bakrač shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bob Winship showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bogomir Pantović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Best in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Momčilo Tonić was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Polperro FC's Wesley Best nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bogomir Pantović made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Momčilo Tonić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Winship having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Vahid Vranješ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th match minute, Polperro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garry Glasby to maneuver through the defense. Dmitar Stanojević took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bob Winship. Polperro FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 73rd minute Momčilo Tonić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Winship saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Tozo Radosavović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Crna Gora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tozo Radosavović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bob Winship showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Momo Grujičić, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 81 played minutes Polperro FC got a freekick which was hit by Garry Glasby. 88 minutes into the game, Ruben Clayton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bogomir Pantović was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bob Winship didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tozo Radosavović went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of FK Crna Gora booed when Polperro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garry Glasby didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Polperro FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
