Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antonel Barjaktarević took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gojko Zlatković hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sinan Radlović during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Melksham AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kettering:s goal. Antonel Barjaktarević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Novica Tršić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Kettering got a freekick which was hit by Mijailo Bokan. In the 22nd minute, Rade Rašović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Novica Tršić was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Pavić Radlović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melksham AFC's Halid Mrvaljević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Ivezic in the 27th minute of play. Miroljub Markoski kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Kettering getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ivan Ivezic hit a great ball. In the 32nd match minute, Kettering was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ðorđe Pantelić to maneuver through the defense. Antonel Barjaktarević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Rade Rašović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melksham AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rade Rašović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Novica Tršić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonel Barjaktarević's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Antonel Barjaktarević managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melksham AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonel Barjaktarević was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Ivezic to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Pavić Radlović dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Novica Tršić, 1-2. Gojko Zlatković kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonel Barjaktarević in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Novica Tršić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Novica Tršić came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Melksham AFC's Pavić Radlović. But to his dismay, Pavić Radlović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Pavić Radlović got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gojko Zlatković kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Antonel Barjaktarević managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melksham AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonel Barjaktarević was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Ivezic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonel Barjaktarević's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Novica Tršić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Mijailo Bokan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Kettering's Novica Tršić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rade Rašović in the 86th minute of play. Antonel Barjaktarević struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Novica Tršić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melksham AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rade Rašović during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Kettering fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Melksham AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
