Luiđi Raičević might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimir Gačević. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiđi Raičević ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Climbers FC's goalkeeper Vladimir Gačević had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Puniša Mamić. When El Pibe Academy's Puniša Mamić, in the 19th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for El Pibe Academy. Luka Jaćimović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Klisić, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. El Pibe Academy's Luka Jaćimović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golub Jolović in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maksim Lazarevski in the 25th minute of play forced Climbers FC's goalkeeper Vladimir Gačević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Climbers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bogić Tabaković came free, but Vladimir Gačević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jovan Markićević got free with Vladimir Gačević in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Maksim Lazarevski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vladimir Gačević, 1-0. In the 41st minute of the match Climbers FC got a corner. El Pibe Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rastko Tatar ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Rastko Tatar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luka Jaćimović quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luka Jaćimović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Budislav Blagojević, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 48 minutes into the game, Maksim Lazarevski lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Vladimir Gačević.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stefan Klisić to strike the kick off in the second half. Luka Jaćimović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Golub Jolović in the 90th minute. After 97 played minutes Climbers FC got a freekick which was hit by Rastko Tatar. When Jozo Popara came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the El Pibe Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jozo Popara couldn't finish the play. El Pibe Academy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
