Royal Oak's Velisav Makavejev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 于寒康 in the 12th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, 于寒康 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Velisav Makavejev. Royal Oak's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 于寒康 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 15th minute, 于寒康 fired away a shot on goal. Velisav Makavejev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Leeds United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
