Spectators: 6778 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cadwaladr Currier took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cadwaladr Currier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Gwern Flood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tegvan Hayward in the 7th minute of play forced UWA Llandysul's goalkeeper Ifor Carman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cadwaladr Currier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ifor Carman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryn Hildreth in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moesen Beale in the 12th minute of play forced UWA Llandysul's goalkeeper Ifor Carman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, one of UWA Cardigan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for UWA Llandysul. Gruffen Ashley stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gwern Flood. 0-1. When Amren Vulcan fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Cardigan's protests and gave Amren Vulcan a yellow card for diving instead. Bryn Hildreth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ifor Carman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Bryn Hildreth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ifor Carman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Amren Vulcan kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Gwern Flood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadwaladr Currier in the 35th minute of play. Gwern Flood didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cadwaladr Currier went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Gwern Flood came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by UWA Llandysul's Anir Armstrong. But to his dismay, Anir Armstrong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Cadwaladr Currier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwern Flood having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Anir Armstrong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The UWA Cardigan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UWA Llandysul were winning 1-3.

UWA Llandysul's Anir Armstrong got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bryn Hildreth charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bryn Hildreth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, UWA Cardigan's Bryn Hildreth got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Cadwaladr Currier came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the UWA Llandysul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cadwaladr Currier couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, UWA Cardigan's Gwern Flood got control of the ball when Anir Armstrong tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anir Armstrong struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Gwern Flood didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Llandysul. Cadwaladr Currier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Anir Armstrong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UWA Llandysul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. 98 minutes into the match, UWA Cardigan's goalkeeper Gwern Flood had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gwern Hosford. UWA Llandysul's Cadwaladr Currier got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over UWA Llandysul could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than UWA Cardigan throughout the match.
