The supporters of Wrexham FC booed when UWA Llandysul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seren Finan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vaddon Conant got free with Ifor Carman in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute Heilyn Armitage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ifor Carman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vaddon Conants short, quick shot in the 49thth minute got Ifor Carman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heilyn Armitage to make the kick off. Anir Armstrong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Gwyr Hernon made a huge save. Ifor Carman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heilyn Armitage's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Vaddon Conant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ifor Carman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UWA Llandysul's Ifor Carman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heilyn Armitage in the 67th minute of play. In the 76th minute Wrexham FC were awarded a corner. Iau Doran went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Anir Armstrong managed to get in a good position for a shot.
