Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ceri Loane started the match with the kick off. Gwern Flood made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kynan Burns in the 4th minute. UWA Cardigan's Gwern Flood proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save UWA Cardigan from getting a goal against them. Ceri Loane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwern Flood having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceri Loane in the 13th minute of play forced UWA Cardigan's goalkeeper Gwern Flood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bryn Hildreth took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calder Death. Calder Death dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Porthcawl's Calder Death played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moesen Beale in the 29th minute of play. Calder Death showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moesen Beale, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Kynan Burns who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Gwern Flood when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 35 minutes into the game, Tegvan Hayward was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Cardigan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porthcawl the free kick. After a rather tough play, UWA Cardigan's Tegvan Hayward got a free kick in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Cardigan's zone, Ceri Loane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gwern Flood came out of the goal and Ceri Loane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ceri Loane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwern Flood having to interfere. The Porthcawl players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UWA Cardigan were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moesen Beale to make the kick off. Gwern Flood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceri Loane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kynan Burns recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Porthcawl's Ermid Hacker got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Moesen Beale reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Calder Death. The goal made the score 0-2. Bryn Hildreth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Ermid Hacker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ceri Loane's late challenge caught a UWA Cardigan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceri Loane helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Ceri Loane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bryn Hildreth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Calder Death when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bryn Hildreth succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 84th playminute. In the 92nd minute, Bryn Hildreth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Calder Death was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 95th match minute, UWA Cardigan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perceval Bender to maneuver through the defense. The Porthcawl supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching UWA Cardigan's performance. The match ended with a win for UWA Cardigan.
