The crowd rose to their feet as Cerwyn Brandon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rhys Dixon. That made the score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. After a rather tough play, UWA Rh's Lavaine Hurlburt got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Gowther Johnston sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and UWA Rh's Rhys Dixon didn't even have to move. After having played for 25 minutes, Gwilym Carver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Rh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwilym Carver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Gwilym Carver ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Llwydeu Puddler was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Gwitart Dunphy scored 2-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rhys Dixon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gwilym Carver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwydeu Puddler having to interfere. A collision led to Neath getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gowther Johnston hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Neath's goal looked a bit too open when Gwilym Carver came free, but Llwydeu Puddler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Gwilym Carver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Rh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwilym Carver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brys Clicker was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Gwilym Carver cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Llwydeu Puddler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the match, Neath's goalkeeper Llwydeu Puddler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vaughn Coalman. After 63 played minutes Lavaine Hurlburt rounded Neath's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-4. In the 67th minute, Gwilym Carver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lavaine Hurlburt kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Pwyll Dexter hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute of the match Cerwyn Brandon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rhys Dixon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brys Clicker in the 79th minute of play forced UWA Rh's goalkeeper Rhys Dixon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Brys Clicker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Dixon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Vaughn Coalman managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Rh's supporters rose to their feet, but Vaughn Coalman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Llwydeu Puddler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, UWA Rh's Gwilym Carver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Llwydeu Puddler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Neath's Llwydeu Puddler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Neath from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gwilym Carver got free with Llwydeu Puddler in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
