Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Taliesin Bullock started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Brice Little showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceri Loane, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When Kynan Burns came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Porthcawl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kynan Burns couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute of the match Pennar Driscoll shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brice Little showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 10th minute, Oswallt Franklin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taliesin Bullock hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Kynan Burns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brice Little having to interfere. Selwyn Gilfin's late challenge caught a Porthcawl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Selwyn Gilfin helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes UWA Newtown got a freekick which was hit by Selwyn Gilfin. In the 23rd minute, Pennar Driscoll sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and UWA Newtown's Brice Little didn't even have to move. If Ceri Loane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerwin Barnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Llacheu Fuller kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match Pennar Driscoll sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brice Little skillfully saved the ball. In the 44th minute, Ermid Hacker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gerwin Barnes came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the UWA Newtown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerwin Barnes couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Ceri Loane made the kick off in the second half. Calder Death made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taliesin Bullock in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ermid Hacker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porthcawl's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermid Hacker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brice Little breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ceri Loane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UWA Newtown's Gerwin Barnes got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calder Death made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerwin Barnes in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerwin Barnes in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Calder Death prevented the ball from getting in the gole. UWA Newtown's Selwyn Gilfin got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 83 played minutes, Porthcawl's Hafgan Hartcliff shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brice Little came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Porthcawl reached it. Ceri Loane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kynan Burns kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot UWA Newtown's keeper Brice Little was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The supporters of Porthcawl booed when UWA Newtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selwyn Gilfin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Porthcawl's Ceri Loane got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
