Cairn Hassett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwitart Dunphy in the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Neath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garym Coulson to maneuver through the defense. Baddon Glazier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Llwydeu Puddler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cadfael Canada in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Llwydeu Puddler, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bridgend FC's goalkeeper Cairn Hassett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwitart Dunphy in the 38th minute of play forced Bridgend FC's goalkeeper Cairn Hassett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwitart Dunphy's late challenge caught a Bridgend FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gwitart Dunphy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Gwitart Dunphy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cadfael Canada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Llwydeu Puddler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Bridgend FC's Cairn Hassett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brys Clicker in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Bridgend FC's goalkeeper Cairn Hassett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gwitart Dunphy. Cadfael Canada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwydeu Puddler having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Neath's zone, Cadfael Canada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Llwydeu Puddler came out of the goal and Cadfael Canada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neath's Llwydeu Puddler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cadfael Canada in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Sinnoch Higgler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Cadfael Canada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Llwydeu Puddler. Neath's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cadfael Canada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Brys Clicker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
