Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Rhyl booed when Cardigan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braen Futter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the game Irvin Clerk kicked a great long shot which passed Garwyli Felt straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-0. One couldn't see Irvin Clerk behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Anwar Lavery's late challenge caught a Rhyl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anwar Lavery helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, Cardigan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anwar Lavery to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Rhyl defense, Clyde Correll kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trevelyan Hanley. The Rhyl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trevelyan Hanley should have stopped the shot. In the 15thth minute of the game Anwar Lavery who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rhyl's Trevelyan Hanley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peissawg Lovat in the 16th minute of play forced Rhyl's goalkeeper Trevelyan Hanley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cardigan's Garwyli Felt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rheged Wainwright in the 23rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Rhyl's Garwyli Felt threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rheged Wainwright, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peissawg Lovat in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trevelyan Hanley saved Rhyl from getting behind. In the 38th minute Peissawg Lovat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trevelyan Hanley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Braen Keaty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rhyl's supporters rose to their feet, but Braen Keaty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garwyli Felt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Irvin Clerk charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Irvin Clerk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rheged Wainwright received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Garwyli Felt came out and tried to block the shot, but Rheged Wainwright slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 49th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peissawg Lovat was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Clyde Correll made a precise shot to the right of Trevelyan Hanley. Rhyl's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Clyde Correll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Trevelyan Hanley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rheged Wainwright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peissawg Lovat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garwyli Felt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rheged Wainwright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peissawg Lovat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevelyan Hanley having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rhyl's Anwas Currier got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Peissawg Lovat came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Cardigan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peissawg Lovat couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Rhyl's zone, Peissawg Lovat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trevelyan Hanley came out of the goal and Peissawg Lovat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caddoc Bell kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Trevelyan Hanley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peissawg Lovat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cardigan getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Braen Futter hit a great ball. Clyde Correll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Trevelyan Hanley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Rheged Wainwright cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Garwyli Felt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
