The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Llandysul getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Siarl Clifton hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Llandysul's goal looked a bit too open when Peissawg Lovat came free, but Mael Guthrie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maelgwn Fairbrother in the 17th minute of play forced Cardigan's goalkeeper Garwyli Felt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Llandysul booed when Cardigan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anwar Lavery didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Llandysul getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Kane Ingoldsby hit a great ball. Clyde Correll could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Mael Guthrie made a huge save. When Llandysul's Maelgwn Fairbrother in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cardigan's Clyde Correll got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37thth minute of the game Maelgwn Fairbrother who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cardigan's Garwyli Felt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clyde Correll might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mael Guthrie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clyde Correll ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Prydwen Gardner made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Llandysul's Prydwen Gardner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. If Kane Ingoldsby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mael Guthrie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peissawg Lovat in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Llandysul's Morgan Boyd broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Mael Guthrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peissawg Lovat in the 71st minute of the match. Mael Guthrie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peissawg Lovat, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maelgwn Fairbrother got free with Garwyli Felt in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clyde Correll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mael Guthrie having to interfere. Maelgwn Fairbrother was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. Llandysul's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Peissawg Lovat succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Clyde Correll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peissawg Lovat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mael Guthrie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cardigan's Garwyli Felt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Cardigan from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Llandysul had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
