Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cas Birdwell started the match with the kick off. Waljan Coffey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Waljan Coffey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cedric Teamster during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cardiff's Cedric Teamster got a free kick in the 15th minute. Mabsant Beal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waljan Coffey in the 23rd minute of play. After 26 played minutes UWA Aberystwyth got a freekick which was hit by Cadeyrn Lydiican. In the 30th minute of the match Ithel Arnold shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nentres Keeler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nentres Keeler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iau Leeche in the 36th minute. Geraint Deanly lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave UWA Aberystwyth a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nentres Flannelly, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cardiff's Mabsant Beal. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iau Leeche made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Cardiff got a freekick which was hit by Gildas Manciple. If Iau Leeche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iau Leeche struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Nentres Keeler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardiff. Waljan Coffey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cas Birdwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UWA Aberystwyth's Waljan Coffey got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cadell Whitster charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cadell Whitster the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th match minute, Cardiff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cadell Whitster to maneuver through the defense. When Cas Birdwell in the 80th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Mabsant Beal kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Iau Leeche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nentres Keeler having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Iau Leeche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Iau Leeche came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Cardiff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iau Leeche couldn't finish the play. The UWA Aberystwyth players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
