In the 6th minute, Gobrwy Beers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Llandysul's goal looked a bit too open when Rheged Wainwright came free, but Nentres Leary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cadwaladr Gore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevelyan Hanley having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Braen Keaty notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Llandysul's Nentres Leary. Nentres Leary was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nentres Leary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rheged Wainwright in the 24th minute of the match. When Rhyl's Rheged Wainwright in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Llandysul's goalie prevented a goal. Rhyl's Trevelyan Hanley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Rhyl from getting a goal against them. Trevelyan Hanley made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Gwawl Garth sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braen Keaty in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nentres Leary prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute Braen Keaty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nentres Leary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cadwaladr Gore to strike the kick off in the second half. Braen Keaty was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 59th minute, Cadwaladr Gore made a precise shot to the right of Trevelyan Hanley. Rhyl's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cadwaladr Gore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cadwaladr Gore in the 79th minute of play forced Rhyl's goalkeeper Trevelyan Hanley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cadwaladr Gore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Trevelyan Hanley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Braen Keaty came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Rhyl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braen Keaty couldn't finish the play. Rheged Wainwright might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nentres Leary. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rheged Wainwright ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th match minute, Llandysul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lovel Henson to maneuver through the defense. Trevelyan Hanley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gwawl Garth's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Braen Keaty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Nentres Leary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Llandysul's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
