The penalty shot was made by Adwr Tanner, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Porthcawl FC's Gowerr Kern. 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Cardigan's goal looked a bit too open when Huw Bligh came free, but Garwyli Felt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garwyli Felt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huw Bligh in the 15th minute of the match. Yestin Huckster took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Garwyli Felt. Cardigan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Porthcawl FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ieuan Cheriton hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Clyde Correll cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Gowerr Kern was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Huw Bligh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porthcawl FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Huw Bligh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garwyli Felt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the game, Peissawg Lovat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cardigan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porthcawl FC the free kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gawain Longhan couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cardigan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
