The crowd rose to their feet as Porthcawl FC's Huw Bligh slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gruddyeu Henson. That made the score 1-3 after 62 minutes of play. Galahad Banff hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Huw Bligh in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gruddyeu Henson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lavaine Bergin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gruddyeu Henson having to interfere. When Galahad Banff fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bridgend FC's protests and gave Galahad Banff a yellow card for diving instead. Galahad Banff kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Lavaine Bergin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Porthcawl FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
