In the 19th minute Iau Leeche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braen Cannon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tringad Fleming struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Mabsant Beal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llandudno Utd. In the 24thth minute of the game Brad Brazier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Llandudno Utd's Braen Cannon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mabsant Beal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tringad Fleming in the 26th minute of the match. Tringad Fleming fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mabsant Beal having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cardiff's Cadell Whitster got a free kick in the 29th minute. Rhun Jamess short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Mabsant Beal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brad Brazier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braen Cannon having to make a save. Rhun James sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Llandudno Utd's zone, Brad Brazier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braen Cannon came out of the goal and Brad Brazier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tringad Fleming to make the kick off. The supporters of Llandudno Utd booed when Cardiff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gildas Manciple didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ol Hawke was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mabsant Beal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rhun James in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Cardiff booed when Llandudno Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hydd Doody didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Llandudno Utd's goalkeeper Braen Cannon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gildas Manciple. Rhun James received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Mabsant Beal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Tringad Fleming managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llandudno Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tringad Fleming was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Braen Cannon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brad Brazier, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Brad Brazier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tringad Fleming in the 98th minute of play forced Cardiff's goalkeeper Mabsant Beal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
