If Siencyn Finch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, one of UWA Denbigh:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UWA Denbigh. Gerallt Lovelady showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwawl Garth, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Iestyn Cotter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerallt Lovelady showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind UWA Denbigh's goalkeeper Gerallt Lovelady, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Llandysul getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Lovel Henson hit a great ball. Gareth Muleskinner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nentres Leary having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Siencyn Finch managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Denbigh's supporters rose to their feet, but Siencyn Finch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nentres Leary breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bradwr Cantwell kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Nentres Leary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gareth Muleskinner in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Siencyn Finch notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Llandysul's Nentres Leary. Nentres Leary was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gareth Muleskinner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cadwaladr Gore to make the kick off. Gerallt Lovelady was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Gwawl Garth capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gwawl Garth really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Gwawl Garth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerallt Lovelady having to interfere. Gerallt Lovelady took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cadwaladr Gore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerallt Lovelady didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gwawl Garth went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 66 minutes, Gwawl Garth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llandysul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwawl Garth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Llandysul's Gobrwy Beers broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 79 minutes in the game, Cadwaladr Gore fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gerallt Lovelady having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, UWA Denbigh's goalkeeper Gerallt Lovelady had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gwawl Garth. After 82 minutes, Arglwydd Karton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Denbigh and the Llandysul players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Arglwydd Karton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Cadwaladr Gore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerallt Lovelady showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cadwaladr Gore, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Llandysul's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
