Gruddyeu Henson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brad Brazier in the 27th minute of play. Gruddyeu Henson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brad Brazier's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. If Iowerth Chambers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iau Leeche came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Cardiff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iau Leeche couldn't finish the play. Gruddyeu Henson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brad Brazier in the 38th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brad Brazier in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gruddyeu Henson saved Bridgend FC from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Cynan Cleary hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match.
