Spectators: 6788 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Rhyl's Braen Keaty got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Rheged Wainwright managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rhyl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rheged Wainwright was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Druce Finn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ove Forsell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Trevelyan Hanley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iau Coe in the 14th minute of play forced Rhyl's goalkeeper Trevelyan Hanley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Rhyl's goal looked a bit too open when Druce Finn came free, but Trevelyan Hanley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Soylent Greens booed when Rhyl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lloyd Criddle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trevelyan Hanley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Druce Finn in the 21st minute of play. Rheged Wainwright received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. When Braen Keaty came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Rhyl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braen Keaty couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Brys Joynes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Ackroyd kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Trevelyan Hanley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Forsell in the 30th minute of play. Druce Finn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevelyan Hanley having to interfere. Druce Finn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Soylent Greens's attentive Mostyn Gapen managed to snatch the ball when Lloyd Criddle made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. After 44 minutes, Druce Finn made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rhyl's Trevelyan Hanley tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Soylent Greens were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rheged Wainwright made the kick off in the second half. Druce Finn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Druce Finn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Trevelyan Hanley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iau Coe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. If Druce Finn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rhyl fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Soylent Greens were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
