Iestyn Cotter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nentres Leary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clyde Correll in the 9th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Llandysul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lovel Henson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maelgwn Grim in the 23rd minute of play forced Cardigan's goalkeeper Garwyli Felt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iestyn Cotter kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Clyde Correll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The long shot by Iestyn Cotter in the 27th minute really tested Garwyli Felt's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gwawl Garth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Garwyli Felt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cardigan's Garwyli Felt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cadwaladr Gore in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Cadwaladr Gore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th match minute, Llandysul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maelgwn Grim to maneuver through the defense. Llandysul's Nentres Leary proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Llandysul from getting a goal against them. Nentres Leary made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clyde Correll in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Peissawg Lovat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nentres Leary. That made the score 0-1 in the 80 minute of play. Clyde Correll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Nentres Leary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garwyli Felt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lovel Henson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gwawl Garth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Anwas Crafton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Llandysul's Gobrwy Beers to fire away a dangerous shot which Garwyli Felt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Llandysul supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cardigan's performance. The match ended with a win for Cardigan.
