UWA Aberystwyth's Nentres Keeler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huw Bligh in the 42nd minute of play. Nentres Keeler made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Lavaine Bergin sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Cas Birdwell made the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes, UWA Aberystwyth's Nentres Flannelly shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gowerr Kern came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UWA Aberystwyth reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Porthcawl FC's zone, Clud Grier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gowerr Kern came out of the goal and Clud Grier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, UWA Aberystwyth's goal looked a bit too open when Huw Bligh came free, but Nentres Keeler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nentres Keeler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lavaine Bergin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clud Grier's late challenge caught a Porthcawl FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clud Grier helped the player get up and apologised. Clud Grier kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Tremayne Harley hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Waljan Coffey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gowerr Kern having to make a save. Cas Birdwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waljan Coffey got free with Gowerr Kern in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lavaine Bergin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Nentres Keeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waljan Coffey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Gowerr Kern made a huge save. The UWA Aberystwyth players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
