Cedric Teamster's late challenge caught a Rhyl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cedric Teamster helped the player get up and apologised. Mabsant Beal was a little too slow when Braen Keaty got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-3. Trevelyan Hanley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iau Leeche in the 72nd minute of play. Braen Keaty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Mabsant Beal made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Rhyl's goal looked a bit too open when Brad Brazier came free, but Trevelyan Hanley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Rhyl booed when Cardiff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ithel Arnold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cardiff's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Rheged Wainwright scored to the left of an out of position Mabsant Beal, making the score, 0-4. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Mabsant Beal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cardiff's Mabsant Beal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Cardiff from getting a goal against them. After 94 played minutes Cardiff got a freekick which was hit by Brad Brazier. The Cardiff supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rhyl's performance. The match ended with a win for Rhyl.
