After having played for 19 minutes, Iolo Henley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beaumaris Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iolo Henley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iolo Henley did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Taffy Findley 22 minutes into the match. Conwy Andrew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barri Finan in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Boggs saved Beaumaris Utd from getting behind. Barri Finan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Arthur Boggs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beaumaris Utd's Merlin Fane couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wales. In the 48th minute Lludd Brent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Boggs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute, Wales's Barri Finan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arthur Boggs. Arthur Boggs yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Iolo Henley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Taffy Findley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Iolo Henley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taffy Findley having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conwy Andrew in the 71st minute of play forced Wales's goalkeeper Taffy Findley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute of the match Merlin Fane sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Taffy Findley skillfully saved the ball. In the 90th minute, Barri Finan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lludd Brent might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arthur Boggs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lludd Brent ran back to his position shaking his head. Beaumaris Utd's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
