In the 26th minute, Gawain Doody left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UWA Aberystwyth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 30thth minute of the game Digon Bradshaw who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UWA Aberystwyth's Amerawdwr Flannery was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dylan Cribban took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amerawdwr Flannery. UWA Aberystwyth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. UWA Aberystwyth's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Digon Bradshaw 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 41 minutes into the match, UWA Aberystwyth's goal looked a bit too open when Digon Bradshaw came free, but Amerawdwr Flannery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. UWA Aberystwyth's Gawain Doody got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Presteigne got a freekick which was hit by Pellyn Kevin. Kynwyl Browne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lloyd Dunn having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Digon Bradshaw made a kick off. Amerawdwr Flannery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Digon Bradshaw in the 51st minute of the match. 51 minutes into the game, Presteigne's Digon Bradshaw nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amerawdwr Flannery made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Aberystwyth's zone, Cadfan Foody stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amerawdwr Flannery came out of the goal and Cadfan Foody tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th match minute, Presteigne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llacheu Coogan to maneuver through the defense. Kynwyl Browne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kynwyl Browne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lloyd Dunn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Aberystwyth's zone, Digon Bradshaw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amerawdwr Flannery came out of the goal and Digon Bradshaw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the UWA Aberystwyth players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Presteigne.
