After 21 played minutes, Porthcawl's Drudwas Beers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pyrs Gavins came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Porthcawl reached it. Pyrs Gavins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwydion Whitesmith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Porthcawl's Huw Heanaghan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pyrs Gavins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute Gwydion Whitesmith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pyrs Gavins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Rhonnda defense, Huw Heanaghan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pyrs Gavins. The Rhonnda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pyrs Gavins should have stopped the shot. Huw Heanaghan struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Pyrs Gavins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porthcawl. Pyrs Gavins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwydion Whitesmith in the 36th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Huw Heanaghan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pyrs Gavins was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Rhonnda's Pyrs Gavins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwydion Whitesmith in the 45th minute of play. Huw Heanaghan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gwydion Whitesmith was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Aedd Inger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rhonnda's supporters rose to their feet, but Aedd Inger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selyv Fishbourne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Broderick Hawke hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Rhonnda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mercher Bowman in the 55th minute. Rhonnda's Mercher Bowman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Selyv Fishbourne in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rhonnda's Aedd Inger got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 played minutes Porthcawl got a freekick which was hit by Drudwas Beers. After having played for 64 minutes, Prydwen Deanly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rhonnda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prydwen Deanly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Huw Heanaghan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ysgawyn Garth charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ysgawyn Garth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, Rhonnda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ysgawyn Garth to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the game, Gwydion Whitesmith cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Pyrs Gavins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Porthcawl defense, Prydwen Deanly kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Selyv Fishbourne. The Porthcawl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Selyv Fishbourne should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Prydwen Deanly notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Porthcawl's Selyv Fishbourne. Selyv Fishbourne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bogart Jordan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
