The audience thought a goal was coming when Bogart Clark got free with Pyrs Gavins in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sior Groom took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pyrs Gavins. Rhonnda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abergele Utd's Clud Wainwright played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prydwen Deanly in the 35th minute of play. If Prydwen Deanly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gorsedd Folk was the one to do the kick off. Clud Wainwright showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prydwen Deanly, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gorsedd Folk in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pyrs Gavins saved Rhonnda from getting behind. Rhonnda's Pyrs Gavins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogart Clark in the 74th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Kenyon Bishop mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abergele Utd and the Rhonnda players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kenyon Bishop kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Gorsedd Folk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rhonnda players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
