Kai Gehan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clud Wainwright having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kai Gehan to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Abergele Utd's zone, Beli Fitzgerald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clud Wainwright came out of the goal and Beli Fitzgerald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54thth minute of the game Kai Gehan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abergele Utd's Clud Wainwright was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Caradoc Keary had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clud Wainwright. Abergele Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caradoc Keary was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
