Spectators: 6801 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1801, VIP seats: 0) Llangollen FC's Mordwywr Hastings started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Presteigne's Digon Bradshaw suffered a sore thigh after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Irvin Gilson hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Cadfan Foody managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Presteigne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cadfan Foody was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mordwywr Hastings in the 13th minute of play forced Presteigne's goalkeeper Lloyd Dunn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cadfan Foody got free with Gilbert Dempsey in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mordwywr Hastings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anfri Hawley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Llangollen FC's goalkeeper Gilbert Dempsey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cadfan Foody. In the 26thth minute of the game Mordwywr Hastings who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Presteigne's Lloyd Dunn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anfri Hawley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lloyd Dunn having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Llangollen FC got a freekick which was hit by Rheged Goff. 40 minutes into the match, Presteigne's goal looked a bit too open when Mordwywr Hastings came free, but Lloyd Dunn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cadfan Foody to strike the kick off in the second half. Pellyn Kevin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gilbert Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cadfan Foody had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Cadfan Foody shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Dempsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilbert Dempsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadfan Foody in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Llangollen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rheged Goff to maneuver through the defense. Cadfan Foody received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gilbert Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mordwywr Hastings in the 74th minute of play forced Presteigne's goalkeeper Lloyd Dunn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mordwywr Hastings had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Cadfan Foody shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Dempsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mordwywr Hastings struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Lloyd Dunn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llangollen FC. Mordwywr Hastings received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lloyd Dunn came out and tried to block the shot, but Mordwywr Hastings slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 88th minute. When Mordwywr Hastings came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Llangollen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mordwywr Hastings couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
